Jen Salvo is the Head of Resource Sharing and Graduate Student Services at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Libraries; she is also the current chair of the Rethinking Resource Sharing Initiative Steering Committee. At UMKC, she and her team process over 30,000 ILL requests annually. In addition, she helped established the UMKC Graduate Writing Initiative and serves on the university’s Copyright Support Team. Jen conducts research on library user behavior, interlibrary loan use among demographic groups, and efficient and cost-effective resource sharing practices. Her book chapter, “Interlibrary Loan and Serving Graduate Students” appears in Transforming Libraries to Serve Graduate Students (2018) from the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL).
