Shirley R Thomas is currently the head of Resource Sharing and Delivery Services for Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Her 40 years of experience in libraries includes working in academic, public and special libraries in acquisitions, cataloging, circulation, document delivery, interlibrary loan, reference, reserves, serials, and special collections and archives. She has been an active member of the resource sharing community serving on ALA/RUSA/STARS committees, regional and local committees. She holds an MLS from North Carolina Central University and a BA in Political Science from Johnson C Smith University.
